The EKG/Phlebotomy program will provide training skills as a Phlebotomy Technician and an Electrocardiography Technician. A combination of skills can be employed in hospitals, physician offices, and several healthcare settings. The program highlights the safe practice of collecting adequate and correct blood specimens by capillary puncture or venipuncture in adults, children, and pediatrics. The second part of the program includes the correct and accurate capture of EKG tracing and cardiac monitoring details. The program consists of online classroom simulated laboratory settings and practicum.

Upon completion, the students will render sympathetic patient care to all patients and perform as essential healthcare team members with competence and confidence. Once students complete the course and practicum, they can sit for the National Phlebotomy and EKG Technician Certification Examination.
